Was browsing through my news feed and heard about a dozen kids in a Texas high school football team ending up in the hospital… because of too many pushups.
As in 400 FREAKING PUSHUPS!!!
Teenagers.
Takes a helluva lot of energy to do 10 GOOD pushups, and this coach wants teens–still growing teens–to do something during practice that men going through Navy SEAL training don’t have to do to qualify?
I’m gonna keep looking this up–just a snippet from BBC so far, but damn. Who is this guy and who the hell hired him? Hope the football gods are shaking their heads in disappointment. REALLY hope those kids’ injuries can be reversed or dealt with quickly.
