Thanks to watching far too many movies, there are some songs that I just can't listen to without certain scenes coming into my head. Now, the songs I chose already had a life of their own before being put into the film. I'm not counting songs written specifically for a film (that's too easy)...
My Copy: 0553245473 (image found on kobo.com, link cover is updated version) I have been a huge fan of Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin for half my life. I just love the world of the brownstone on West 35th Street, New York, and the quirks, familiarity, and attitudes of our characters. Are the dogs trying to find a spot to poo that is close to those other dogs, or far away from them? After some more research, it seems to be either...depending on the situation.

If anything was telling me it was time to dump the coffee the rest of … Continue reading I’m going through a tough breakup with fried food, but we HAVE to stop seeing each other.
I bet some of you were wondering if I miscounted again, but nope--apparently this is Arthur Conan Doyle's last collection of Sherlock Holmes. The very last--complete with the "I mean it this time" from the author. Hell, I'll let him tell it in his own words:
Well, looks like our duo's at it again, though the timeline varies between our gents being relatively young or much older and "retired." I have to say, though, for short stories, I couldn't stop until I'd read them all, and ended up doing so in one day.
